A Cable Systems company, and a leading designer, manufacturer, and supplier of electrical distribution products, has an opening.<br/>

Job Summary: Process Improvement and technical support of existing wire and cable manufacturing processes with special emphasis on copper drawing and wire extrusion operations.<br/>
<br/>
Leadership and support of ongoing Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing projects.<br/>
Training and Development of Lean- Sigma Green belts/project owners.<br/>
Technical support of Product/Process Development activities. Job Responsibilities: Provide process improvement/technical support to wire and cable manufacturing operation 40% <br/>
Provide technical support of product/process development activities 20% <br/>
Identify, develop and coordinate Key Improvement opportunities with a focus on cost savings,<br/>
process capability and customer satisfaction 20% <br/>
Coordinate LEAN manufacturing and SIX SIGMA Projects </div>

Job Requirements </div>
<div>Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 10 years’ experience in wire and cable manufacturing, and a minimum of five years in a Lean-Sigma environment. Technical Skills: Six Sigma Black Belt. Minimum 5 years Lean experience, and five years copper drawing and wire extrusion experience. <br/>
