ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Manhattan, NEW YORK $70,000 - $150,000+ My reputable client located in Manhattan, is searching for a Electrical Engineer to lead their MEP group. He/She will be responsible for leading multiple electrical design projects. My client is looking for an individual with a strong electrical building systems background. Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design including evaluation, modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for various institutional clients' projects; plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate mechanical engineering work; coordination of the project with local, city, county and state codes and officials; resolve a variety of complex problems, i.e., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and/or difficult coordination requirements; serve as a liaison between clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams; review project contract documents; provide technical guidance and supervise the work of other engineers and technical support personnel. Required Skills PE is preferred, but not required. LEED is also preferred, but not required. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required from ABET accredited engineering university.
