Award Winning engineering consulting firm with offices in Long Island and Manhattan New York has a new opening for a Senior Project Manager in the water wastewater area.
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team of talented professionals in Long Island, NY As a Water & Wastewater Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for:
- Managing environmental water/wastewater projects
- Preparing project designs and reports
- Preparing and administering construction contracts
- Managing financial resources and project profitability
- Completing project permitting requirements
- Client relationship management and development activities
- Communicating with staff as needed to ensure projects are completed timely and on budget
- Providing project review, QA/QC and compliance to client specific requirements
Additional areas of responsibility may include:
- Assisting with staff training
- Providing recommendations to supervisor regarding staffing requirements
Job Requirements
Required Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with environmental emphasis
- P.E. licensure
- 10+ years' project experience involving:
- design of water distribution and treatment systems
- wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment systems and processes
- hydraulics
- on lot systems
- environmental assessments
- Minimum 5-10 years project management experience
- ability to provide timely project deliverables
- develop and maintain excellent client satisfaction
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience with:
- computer modeling of water systems
- hydraulic design software
- PA DEP regulations
