RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT
- Provides assistance and support to the Accounting Manager
- Analysis of all assigned monthly accounts
- Balance all monthly accounts
- Journal entries
- Reconciliation of balance sheets
- Accounts payable invoice and voucher review
- Monthly financial statements and financial analysis
- Annual audit assistance
- Maintenance of accounting records
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE
- 4 year degree with Accounting major preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred
- Computerized accounting systems knowledge
- Must be able to resolve complex accounting issues which may require research and application of GAAP.
- Account reconciliation and balancing is required
- Budget variance reporting experience
- Ability to work overtime
