5 Star construction firm is seeking a Transit Rail Signal Installation Manager, with design, installation, testing/commissioning of signal and train control systems experience. Successful candidates will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a designated project by providing guidance to ownership and the design team on both management and technical issues. At a late date, the individual will be responsible for the oversight of all field operations ensuring that goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and within project budget.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Electrical, Construction Management or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Resident Engineer with at least 5 years as a Resident Engineer on an existing, operating, rapid transit system.
- Technical discipline lead for OCS, TPSS, and communication systems.
- Commuter rail, heavy rail, metro, urban and subway mass rail transit experience required
- Installation, testing/commissioning of signal and train control systems experience required.
- Certifications desired, but not required, include: CCM, PMP, CCE, CCC, or PSP.
- Knowledge of Expedition Contract Manager desired but not required.
- Proposal and presentation experience desired but not required.
