MEP superstar is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - P.E. or EIT for Manhattan office. Client is an established, well recognized MEP Engineering Consulting firm that specializes mainly in HVAC design/retrofit projects in commercial, municipal, healthcare, and similar markets. This is a full time permanent position that will be a very integral role in a growing organization. Position will be groomed for partner.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
- HVAC system design
- Project Management
- fire protection
- Oversee/manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC
- Ability to create, read, translate design drawings
- Heavy use of CAD
- Scope of Work
- Oversee, direct, supervise drafters, designers, engineers, architects, and other disciplines
- Versatility and ability to act hands-on as needed
- Organization, multi-tasking, and coordination with pin point accuracy
Qualifications & Requirements:
- BS Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer in NJ
- HVAC system design, boilers, chillers
- Expert level proficiency in CAD
- Commercial HVAC design
- Experience working for an MEP, Engineering Consulting, or related firm
- Management, Project Management, Supervisory, or Team Lead experience highly favored
- Ability and desire to hold a long term leadership role
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams, customers, and strategic partners
