Controls Engineer
Leading automation tooling company based in Salem, NC that combines a proven track record and professional skills, woven together with a culture of trust & caring. Looking for an experienced PLC/HMI Controls Engineer to join a winning team.
The Position :
- PLC and HMI Development (Siemens Experience)
- HMI Development/Configuration
- Create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation and testing, and start-ups
- Develop electrical schematics and layouts with CAD Software
- Read and create electrical and process control drawings
- SCADA/HMI (Wonderware/iFix) & database (SQL) programming.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing installations
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade existing logic
What You Need for this Position
At Least 3 Years of experience in the following:
✓ Must have proven experience in PLC logic and programming with Rockwell / Siemens
✓ Ability to meet deadlines and internal customer needs
✓ Ability to maintain confidentiality
✓ Ability to take a project from start to finish
✓ Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and decision-making skills
✓ Must be a team player
✓ Ability to take a project from start to finish
✓ Some travel required
