Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and experience with a variety of design software.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural components for a variety of projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure
- Develop and prepare construction drawings and specifications
- Review and approve shop drawings and change orders
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers
- Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure that projects meet design specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering design
- Design software, including STAAD, ETABS, ENERCALC, and AutoCAD (Ram Structural Systems is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
