Exciting Opportunity for Geotechnical Driller

What You'll Do:

- Conduct geotechnical and environmental drilling operations, including auger borings, SPT sampling, rock coring, and monitoring wells
- Oversee drill rig operations and train assistants on the drilling site
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and supervisors
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain equipment
- Travel occasionally and work independently

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or technical associate degree
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- 40-hour Hazmat training and Hazwoper updates
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and mechanical skills

Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive salary range of $80,000-$100,000 per year
- Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan and tuition reimbursement for required certifications and training

Geotechnical Driller experience in the auger, mud rotary and NX rock coring operating various types of rotary drill rigs for split spoon soil sampling and installation of temporary or permanent monitoring wells. Must be familiar with highway construction specifications and have previous field experience. Construction materials testing and inspection experience a plus.
