Senior Financial Reporting Accountant - SEC
Quakertown, PA
Role:
A large and stable client of ours is seeking an individual to assist in the preparation of SEC filings, general ledger, and reporting for the organization. This would include the completion and filing of the organization’s 10-K / 10-Q's.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual SEC reporting (10-Q, 10-K)
- Assist with the accounting month end close, regulatory reporting, financial statement preparation, and management reporting.
- Understand, maintain and update our reporting framework for SEC compliance
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations, cash flow statements preparation and analysis
- Assist in compliance of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Research complex transactions, technical accounting policies and documenting the respective changes
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. We will consider individuals right out of public accounting with publicly traded clients or someone with a strong technical accounting skill set out of another corporation.
