Senior Accountant - SEC

70-90K and Bonus
Role:
A leading manufacturing organization is seeking an individual to assist in the preparation of SEC filings and consolidations accounting for the organization. This would include the completion and filing of the organization’s 10-K / 10-Q's. In this role, you will also collaborate with multiple departments including finance, FP&A, & general accounting. This is a great position for the individual that wants to be able to learn the operations of a company.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual SEC reporting (10-Q, 10-K)
- Assist with the accounting month end close, financial statement preparation, Consolidations and reporting as well as variance reporting.
- Understand, maintain and update our reporting framework for SEC compliance
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations, cash flow statements preparation and analysis
- Assist in compliance of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Research complex transactions, technical accounting policies and documenting the respective changes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- A CPA (or progress towards)
- Individuals right out of public accounting with publicly traded clients
- Individuals with a public accounting / corporate financial reporting mixed background.
