My client is a highly regarded Energy Management and Performance Contracting company. They seek two engineering candidates in the 5 to 10 year range with direct industry experience. Currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team of experts. The Senior Project Engineer will engineer services to identify and calculate Energy and Water Conservation Measures within existing building environments and selected industrials sites. They will lead the implementation of projects including development of sales proposals, installation of energy and water conservation measures and delivery of savings results. Job Responsibilities •Develop engineering solutions to deliver energy & water savings solutions •Prepare sales proposal content to describe these solutions •Manage selected subcontractors and suppliers to source, validate and deliver energy and water savings technologies •Define scope, costing and schedule project implementation activities •Be accountable for installation of the solutions •Commissioning the solutions •Validate the predicted savings as per the ASR (Actual Savings Reports)/ M&V (Measure & Verify) Report •Continuous professional development Qualifications •Holds a 4 year degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or equivalent •Project management qualification •5+ years of project management experience •Technology and industry certifications – CEM, CEA, LEED AP, CMVP, ECPB Experience •Demonstrable track record in delivering projects •Technical experience with energy efficiency technologies Skills And Competencies •Demonstrate initiative •Project management fundamentals •Advanced computer skills •Ability to work effectively across a large geographic and customer spread •Effective interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships •Ability to manage subcontractors •Demonstrable flair for sourcing and implementing new technology •Demonstrated performance in working with solution providers to provide energy/utility performance improvements in commercial, industrial and health facilities •In-depth building services knowledge such as HVAC, BMS and lighting •Commercial acumen •Sales acumen •On site generation knowledge, such a cogeneration and solar •Up-to-date with energy efficiency technology •Familiar with the best practice guides (BPG) for energy efficiency is preferred •Understanding of the requirements for and the undertaking of Energy Audits in accordance with ASHRAE standards •Knowledge of energy modeling / best practice (ASHRAE 90.1, Energystar, etc)
