Job Details:
Quality Assurance Supervisor
12 hour nights - 2-3-2 shift.
A growing food manufacturer in the Philadelphia-area has an immediate need at their New Jersey plant for a Quality Assurance Supervisor. Primary responsibilities include:
- Assisting the QA manager in Implementing and managing quality improvement plans.
- Verify plant compliance with corporate and customer requirements.
- SOP development, implementation and evaluation.
- Manage internal audits and develop corrective action plans.
- Evaluate raw material, in-process and finished product.
Qualified candidates must possess the following:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong SQF, HACCP experience.
- The ability to Identify and resolve quality and food safety issues.
- GMP, food safety & security, sanitation, pest control and quality systems experience.
- Background with continuous improvement initiatives via Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
- Food manufacturing experience is a required.
